The NAS Fallon Fuels Division is one of the busiest military fueling operations, managing and issuing over 30 million gallons of aviation fuel (JP-8) to refuel aircraft for approximately 35,000 sorties a year. Petro 2005 - Exhibition and Tradeshow
San Antonio, Texas was the place to be October 16-19, 2005 for PETRO 2005. Over 800 attendees from Government and industry involved in all facets of petroleum distribution, from the terminal manager to the tank farm operator, gathered to see and learn about the latest innovations and technologies available from over 100 attending vendors in this fast growing market. The Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center was a terrific venue for this event, within walking distance of the famous Riverwalk, offering a relaxing environment after a full day of technology sessions.
Technical sessions provided attendees with an in-depth understanding of issues ranging from environmental aspects, such as leak detection and overfill protection, to American Petroleum Institute (API) best management and engineering practices.

Baghdad International Airport
The airport, which is currently being refurbished and repaired as part of a USAID package, is managed by SkyLink Air and Logistic Support, Inc. Varec was selected to implement a fuels management system due to proven expertise at major commercial airports and U.S. military bases worldwide.
